This crucial course prepares you to prevent and manage potential diving emergencies, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to assist other divers in need.

You’ll develop your rescue skills through practical training scenarios, covering self-rescue techniques, how to assist a panicked diver, and effective emergency management. This course is a challenging but rewarding experience that will significantly enhance your diving abilities and preparedness.

Upon completion, you’ll receive an internationally recognized Rescue Diver certification, demonstrating your commitment to diver safety.

Important Information:

• Description: Prepares divers to prevent and manage diving emergencies, including self-rescue and assisting others.
• Prerequisite: Certification as an Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent from any certifying agency). CPR and First Aid certification are also typically required (or can often be completed in conjunction with the Rescue Diver course).
• International Certificate: Upon completion, you receive an internationally recognized diving certificate.
• Minimum age: Typically 15 years old (check specific agency requirements). Junior Rescue Diver certifications may be available for younger divers.
• Duration: 2-3 days (depending on the agency and course structure).
• Course Summary: Covers self-rescue, panicked diver assistance, underwater problem management, and emergency procedures.
• Transfer surcharge for hotels outside Hurghada: €7.50 per person (Makadi Bay, El Gouna and Sahl Hasheesh), €12.50 per person (Safaga and Soma Bay).
