Our Open Water Diver course teaches you the fundamental principles of scuba diving, opening up a world of adventure and exploration beneath the waves. This is your first step to becoming a certified diver!
We offer internationally recognized Open Water Diver certifications from several leading diving organizations: PADI, SSI, SDI, and BSAC. Choose the certification that best suits your needs.
The course combines diving theory, skills training, and open water dives. Upon completion, you’ll receive an international diving certificate, allowing you to dive anywhere in the world. You’ll be qualified to a depth of 18 meters and able to dive independently with a buddy.

- Basic scuba gear (mask, exposure suit, scuba unit, dive computer, weight system, and fins)

Important Information:
- Duration: 3 days
- Course Description: Combining diving theory, skills training, and open water diving.
- Recommended depth: Qualified to 18m, able to dive independently with a buddy.
- International Certificate: Upon completion, you receive an internationally recognized diving certificate.
- Minimum age: 10 years old.
- Children aged 10 and 11 can earn the PADI Jr. Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from other agencies), diving to a maximum depth of 12 meters with a PADI Professional or certified parent/guardian. Children aged 12 to 14 can also be Jr. Open Water Diver certified (or equivalent), to a maximum depth of 18 meters with any adult certified diver.
- Transfer surcharge for hotels outside Hurghada: €7.50 per person (Makadi Bay, El Gouna and Sahl Hasheesh), €12.50 per person (Safaga and Soma Bay).
